R&D experts from Geneva-based companies were informed of the ground-breaking knowledge the University of Geneva is cultivating in the field of synthesis and characterization of materials. The visit focused particularly on improving the quality of certain materials, the optimisation of a property or a specific method of synthesis and the development of new devices for measuring physical parameters of materials.

Heads of labs in materials from the watchmaking and jewellery industries, as well as equipment companies, participated in the visit and discussion.
