With the rapid development of information technology, huge amounts of data can now be exploited. In particular, for the data from Transports Publics Genevois, which will be publicly available in the near future.
This TechLunch was an opportunity to discuss potential applications for this data and the technological challenges associated with them. 40 experts from Geneva’s higher education institutions, IT companies and the cantonal administration all participated in this debate, during which many original ideas came up. Participants also had the chance to implement a competition designed to foster Geneva students’ creativity for better mobility in the Canton.
