The circular economy is much more than recycling. Its objective is to meet basic needs (food, water, habitat, health, energy, employment) by developing and preserving the richness and diversity of nature.

It is a lever for competitiveness for companies, a source of challenges (cost control, change of model, regulatory and environmental constraints) and opportunities (new markets, innovation, collaboration and competitiveness).

Entrepreneurs came and they took part in our circular design workshop in order to find innovative and disruptive solutions to concrete problems. They proposed their own challenges or worked on predefined ones.

To start the event, the professor Jacques Richard (HEPIA) presented a life cycle analysis and a carbon/energy review of a product, and Gauthier Delcloy (CO-Objectifs 21) shared his vision of the circular economy. They helped us rethink a product in terms of circularity.
